Founding partner of CapitalFusion with responsibilities in Business Development, Portfolio Management and oversight of all trading as well as strategic business initiatives. Previously, Mr. Joshi was responsible for establishing and managing Countrywide Alternative Investments. As Senior Portfolio Manager and Executive Vice President, Mr. Joshi was responsible for Countrywide Alternative Investments’ developing the CDO business and other asset management investment vehicles. From 1997 to 2005, Mr. Joshi worked at Clinton Group where his most recent responsibilities were Head of Pricing Risk, responsible for pricing, valuation risk management and leverage modeling. From 1997 to 2003, Mr. Joshi was a Portfolio Manager for ABS and CDO products, responsible for ABS strategies for the general funds and CDO issuance and management. Prior to joining the Clinton Group, Mr. Joshi was also a Managing Principal at C.Held Inc. Mr. Joshi was a member of the quantitative research group at PaineWebber from 1990 to 1996 where he was involved in ABS and Whole Loan research. Mr. Joshi started his career at Salomon Brothers developing MBS/ABS analytics in 1986. He has over 18 years of diverse experience in fixed income and structured finance, most recently in CMBS, commercial real estate loans, B Notes, Mezz, and CRE CDOs. Previously, he was head of portfolio management and advisory for Commercial Real Estate and CMBS at an advisory firm for eighteen months. Prior to that, he worked at Merrill Lynch for 15 years, last 1.5 years as head of commercial real estate collateralized debt obligations, with responsibility for cash & synthetic CDOs and warehouse financing. Prior to that, he was a senior member of a team that originated, structured, securitized, or sold more than $40 Bn US and $ 7 Bn Canadian whole loans, mezz, and B notes. With dual roles as senior-banker/deal-manager and head of structuring/pricing for Merrill’s commercial real estate businesses in US and Canada, he worked with both the trading/syndication and origination groups and was involved in almost all aspects of commercial mortgage loans and securities business, including pricing of conduit and large loans, subordinated debt, & securitizations. Prior to that, he traded and structured CMOs, and was responsible for structuring $53 Bn in new issue CMOs. Since the beginning of his career at Merrill working on foreign exchange options analytics and risk, he has been interested and involved in derivatives of all types including Total Return Swaps, Credit Default Swaps, and indices like CMBX. Other trading desks he has worked on include treasury and mortgage options, emerging markets structured products, non-dollar swaps and exotic options. Girish is responsible for establishing and managing financial services practice at Computech Corporation. He has more than 16 years in the information technology space with experience in managing regional and branch operations of organizations like British Aerospace and HAL’s software venture at London, and Intentia Asia Pacific’s regional operations. He has been with Computech Corporation since 2002 and has successfully launched their financial services practice and grew them into multi-million operations both onsite and offshore. Prior to joining CapitalFusion Riz was involved in management consulting focused on enterprise level IT solutions and offshore outsourcing. From 1995 to 2004, as an IT entrepreneur, Riz, started two web-based services companies and an offshore outsourcing marketing company. His experience ranged from fund raising thru startup process and implementation of business plans in the roles of CEO, COO and CTO. Previously Mr. Haider was the CIO of Transammonia, a global trading company, where he led the transformation of its legacy applications and architecture to a web-based application environment. From 1970 to 1995 Riz worked in Wall Street as a technologist focused on trading, risk management and back-office support systems for Bankers Trust Company, Salomon Brothers Inc. and Monchik Weber Corporation. Most recently Mr. Fontanilla was a senior ABS trader at RBC Capital Markets where he traded both real estate and consumer ABS as well as CMBS. Prior to that Mr. Fontanilla was an Executive team member and Director of Risk Management at Champion Mortgage, a Division of KeyBank NA where he was in charge of risk and portfolio management for the company’s non-conforming subprime platform including loss forecasting, risk adjusted profitability, disaster recovery planning, internal controls, OCC compliance, loan pricing, product development, hedging, financing/securitization, whole loan strategy, and competitive intelligence. Prior to that, while at Capital One, he was part of a team responsible for raising funding in excess of $11 billion for the various lines of businesses in the asset backed and unsecured markets. He also worked on due diligence and funding/investment for/in new business ventures using a combination of asset backed funding and private equity. In 2000, Arjun co-founded and raised venture capital funding for a South Asia centric financial services business. While at business school, Arjun interned as a summer associate at Merrill Lynch where he was focused on technology equity research. From 1993 to 1997, Arjun was Director, BAPL (holding company of Engineers Combined/Build India Construction Limited), a South Asia centric engineering consulting, infrastructure/real estate development and construction management firm. He also worked on setting up and marketing of India's first visual effect studio business during his work with leading media firms, including Plus Channel and Autodesk.
